SVT Privacy Policy

Sveriges Television AB, org.nr 556033-4284 ("SVT") processes your personal data regarding the jobapplication form for German police officers who wants to work in the Swedish Police, as a part of the TV-programme "Svenska Nyheter". The personal data that SVT processes: name, email, telephonenumber, address, occupation, answers to questions and a personal description.

  1. The above processing of personal data is a part of SVT:s activities as a publicist for editorial purposes. This means that only certain parts of the GDPR apply to the processing; the articles relating to the security of personal data. We always protect the personal data by using adequate security measures.
  2. SVT will hand over the collected application forms to the National Police Commissioner on the 11th of October 2019 at the latest. When SVT do hand over the application forms to the National Police Commissioner this specific processing will take place in accordance with GDPR. SVT is allowed to hand over the application forms to the National Police Commissioner because you have given your consent to this. SVT does not transfer your personal data to any other parties/actors. SVT will not transfer your data outside the EU/EES. SVT will erase the personal data upon the date of handing over applications to the National Police Commissioner. You have the following rights as a data subject: right to information on and access to the personal data being processed by SVT, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing and right to data portability. You may also at any time remove your consent.
